Pharmaceutical Water, Inc. has developed a patent pending process for production of USP Purified Water and Water for Injection. The process eliminates the need for standard water treatment medias such as carbon, multimedia, and ion exchange resin that are known havens for bacterial growth. The end result is a system that continually produces water that meets USP specifications without the need for elaborate sanitization procedures. Furthermore, the system is fully automated with a 21 CFR 11 compliant control system that minimizes operator involvement in system operations. Elimination of down time and operator involvement time produces significant facility cost savings.

Prolonged membrane life and lower operating costs have been provided by the automatic integral cleaning and permeate flush systems developed for reverse osmosis processors.
